Vendor Policies
Last Updated: July 5, 2026. Rules and guidelines governing hosts, banquet halls owners, and event space service providers.
1. Venue Listing Rules
All venue listings must describe actual, physical spaces. Listing parameters (capacity pax size, available parking count, AC status, and address details) must match the real properties. Listings must not contain misleading promotional text.
2. Image Upload Guidelines
Images represent your venue and attract bookings. Hosts must adhere to the following image guidelines:
- Upload only high-resolution, clear photos of your own property.
- Do not include watermarks, business phone numbers, or third-party brand logos.
- Upload category-specific tags (e.g. Stage, Dining, Parking, Exterior).
3. Pricing Guidelines
Pricing details, including plate costs (veg/non-veg) and rental fees, must be transparent. Hidden fees, sudden price hikes after booking confirmation, or requesting off-platform charges beyond listed rates are strictly prohibited.
4. Fake Listing & Fraud Policy
Strict Ban on Fake Listings
Creating duplicate listings, listing non-existent banquet spaces, or using fake reviews will result in permanent suspension of your account and locking of pending payouts.
5. Booking & Calendar Policy
Venue owners must review and update booking requests within 48 hours of submission. Double bookings represent a failure of service; owners must ensure their slots calendar is synced block-by-block.
6. Customer Behaviour & Review Policy
Hosts agree to provide a professional environment. Harassment of guests, blocking verified bookings without notice, or requesting additional tip fees are violations. Review ratings are moderated and must not be manipulated.
7. Verification Protocol
Business Verification
Venue owners must submit valid GSTIN details, property ownership registration proofs, bank account details, and WhatsApp communication keys.
Fraud Prevention
All listings undergo manual verification by the platform admin panel before appearing in trending searches.
8. Cancellation Rules for Hosts
If an owner cancels a confirmed booking without valid proof of force majeure, the owner is liable to pay a 10% penalty charge to the customer, and their listing rank will be lowered.
9. Account Suspensions & Platform Rights
VenueVerse reserves the right to suspend host accounts, remove listings from the search algorithm, or blacklist businesses that fail to adhere to listing codes, verification policies, or platform payment rules.
